The Magic of Music: 2025 Fundraising Program

In 2025, the Encore Music Education Foundation, Inc. (EMEF) celebrated The Magic of Music, a fundraising theme inspired by the powerful role music plays in our lives and communities.

Music can bring comfort, offer hope, help us through grief, inspire creativity, awaken memories, and bring people together. Its impact can be difficult to put into words, but its ability to enrich lives is undeniable.

EMEF’s mission is to help make these opportunities accessible to students who might not otherwise be able to afford them. With access to music education, students can explore their interests, develop their talents, build confidence, and discover new possibilities for their futures.

As part of the 2025 fundraising program, EMEF hosted its annual gala and silent auction on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in collaboration with Encore Music Academy and Recording Studios. The event brought attention to the importance of music education and supported EMEF’s efforts to provide scholarships and financial assistance to students in need.

Our Story

Founded in October 2015 in Franklin, Massachusetts, the Encore Music Education Foundation, Inc. was established by its Board of Directors to address a need in the community for financial support for music education and to recognize the achievements of music students of all ages.

Since its founding, EMEF has worked to make music education more accessible by helping students pursue their musical interests, regardless of financial circumstances. Its support has included scholarships and financial assistance for individual music students, as well as support for music education initiatives in the community.

Through these efforts, EMEF strives to help more students experience the confidence, creativity, discipline, and joy that music can bring to their lives.

Our Mission:

To bring music into the lives of those who might not otherwise be able to afford lessons and classes; to purchase musical instruments for individuals and music education programs; to support students attending college to study music; to provide educational resources and materials for students of music; and, finally, to recognize, through the establishment of our scholarship awards, those students who exhibit excellence in the study of their chosen instrument.

Beyond these goals, EMEF believes that access to music can make a meaningful difference in a person’s life. Music offers opportunities for personal growth, self-expression, connection, and achievement. Through scholarships and community support, EMEF works to make those opportunities available to students who might otherwise face financial barriers.
